Overview
Avex set out to redefine how people interact with DeFi.
Instead of creating another trading platform, it aimed to build an ecosystem — a place where users could manage assets, swap tokens, and feel part of something bigger.
My work focused on designing the DeFi interface and shaping the visual flow of the landing experience, ensuring it feels intuitive and human.
Insights
DeFi often feels cold and complex, filled with data and difficult interfaces.
Our goal with Avex was to make it feel familiar, something closer to a digital home than a financial product.
We took inspiration from family apps, which create comfort through rhythm, tone, and accessibility.
That same sense of ease was applied to DeFi, allowing users to connect without being overwhelmed by the technical side.
Concept
The concept focused on creating a calm yet connected experience that felt both professional and personal.
Every screen followed the same logic of openness, balance, and trust.
Approach:
Created a modular structure that connected wallet, swaps, and staking into one journey.
Used neutral tones and open space to make data easier to digest.
Focused on transitions that feel natural and continuous rather than mechanical.

1. Define the purpose
Mapped user goals across the wallet, DEX, and staking flows to design a smooth journey.
2.Design for trust
Simplified how information was displayed so that numbers always carried meaning.
3.Connect interactions
Linked every action visually, helping users understand how each step leads to the next.

Used insights from family-oriented apps to shape a feeling of warmth and safety.
